Bonnie was born on March 10, 1937 in Duluth, Minnesota. She was the oldest of three children born to Mildred and Donald Greene. She was raised in Duluth where she met and married Don Gilbert, and they were married for 58 years. They raised four children, and Bonnie was a stay at home mom until they moved to Portland in 1978. She worked for Mervyns Department Store.
Bonnie and Don loved to travel, enjoying Hawaii and Mexico. Bonnie lived at Cherrywood Village for the last year and a half, making many friends. She loved her puzzle table friends in Winridge, the balloon toss group of Royal Anne and the staff of Cherrywood. She will be missed by all who knew her.
She is survived by her son, Gary (Linda) Gilbert of Gresham; daughter, Cheri (Jeff) of Albuquerque, New Mexico; brother, Vance (Joyce) Greene of Cloquet, Minnesota; seven grandchildren and their spouses, great grandchildren and great granddogs.
