Aubrey Jessie Burke

Aubrey Jessie Burke, 81, of Vancouver passed away July 2, 2015. Aubrey was born in Modesto, California to Irmin and Eleanor (Johnson) Burke and he was raised with seven siblings. During Aubrey’s childhood he enjoyed playing sports and staying active. Aubrey met his wife, Emma “Jeanne” Pugliese, during his first year in college. They got married November 25, 1954 and together they raised four children. Professionally, Aubrey held two careers, he was a respiratory therapist for 20 years and he also worked in the timber industry where he managed to sell over 1500 acres of timber. He also enjoyed trading in the stock market. Aubrey is survived by his wife of over 60 years, Jeanne; children, Frank Burke, Keleen Wart, Karin Seibel, Keri Paintner; 10 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. A graveside service will be held at Mt. Hope Cemetery in College Place, Washington on Tuesday, July 14th at 11am.
