Anna Rose of Gresham, OR was born in Portland, OR to Hiram and Viola Eatinger joining her older sister Dessadean . The family lived locally as she grew up in the Portland area. She graduated from Gresham High School.
On March 17, 1956 she married Robert H. Warner in Portland, Or and moved shortly thereafter to rural Gresham where they built a home and raised their family.
She taught skiing at several Government Camp ski areas and worked at Mt. Hood Meadows ski area for over 19 years. She was a long time employee at West Orient Grade School and retired in 1994. In retirement she volunteered many hours with Loaves and Fishes.
She enjoyed, spending time with family and friends, skiing, gardening and most of all with her four grandsons. She was a member of the Greater Gresham Baptist Church.
Anna Rose was preceded in death by her husband in 1995. She is survived by her sons Jim Warner of Brightwood, Ken Warner of Gresham, her grandchildren, Tony and Blair Warner of Portland and Kyle and Zachary Warner of Gresham.
Funeral service will be held Thursday, June 19th, 11:30am at Bateman Carroll Funeral home, 520 W. Powell Blvd., Gresham OR 97030. Committal services following at Willamette National Cemetery. Contributions can be made to Mt. Hood Hospice in Sandy, OR.
