Wilma Jo Hughes

Wilma Jo Hughes, 82, of Barling, Arkansas passed away Thursday, December 12, 2024 in Van Buren. She was born March 29, 1942 in Greenwood, Arkansas to Jeptha Terel and Mable (Jones) Hughart. She was a member of Victory Church in Fort Smith.

She is survived by her husband, Bob Pennington; one son, Randall Hughes of Lavaca; one daughter, Rita Limore and husband, Will of Sallisaw; one sister, Norma Gonzales and husband, Tony of Barling; one granddaughter, Kristen Raines of Sallisaw and numerous nieces and nephews.

Cremation arrangements are under the direction of McConnell Funeral Home of Greenwood. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
