I can tell he was loved very much. So sorry!! 💓✝🙏🙏 Praying for your mom and family I know she will be lost without him. You will see him again, as you said he’s holding hands with Jesus now. God be with Fred and his family in this time of sorrow.

I have learned so much from these two and consider having them in my life for so long, one of the greatest gifts anyone could ever receive. I have countless memories and lessons learned from papaw. Here is a few

If a man gives you a decent pay, you give him an honest days hard work. 

Be tough. Just because it hurts don’t mean you got to show it. 

Sometimes you got to weather a little storm to catch the last of the crappie. 

“That won’t hurt you”.  (This is often a lie. )

“Don’t tell your momma or your Nana!”  My personal favorite. 

Most importantly they taught me how to build a lasting marriage. Papaw never spoke negatively to me about nana or hardly anybody else for that matter. . As a matter of fact the second to last thing I  ever heard him say  was a compliment to her, even though I could barely make it out. The last was  “love you more than you know.”  He loved simply but fiercely. Always complimented his beautiful bride and loved her well, even on his death bed. In return she loved him back, cared for him, served him, nurtured and respected him. This is how you make love last. Love each other fiercely and keep Jesus in it. Never give up on each other even when life gets hard. I am so thankful for the lessons, memories , and example I was shown for 39 years. I’m gonna miss you so much and can’t wait till I see you again. When I get up there we are going to have that coon hunt we always talked about.

Wimpy was the best coon hunter I ever hunted with. Fred would climb tree and knock coon out and the race was on with the dogs gaining ground.

Last time I visited Wimpy I heard clicking from what seemed to be thousand of these bobble heads in the garage windows. And he was sitting in his man cave watching a John Wayne move on a vhs player. Of course he had a cigar in his mouth. We talked about Minnesota and hunting. Best day I’ve had in a long time. Love you Wimpy rest in pease. Tim 

I had a lot of father’s figures in my life, and Wimpy was forsure one of them!! I will never forget him. We had a special connection. We became “Brothers “ after one of his back surgeries and we always called each other brothers since then! My heart breaks but happy he is in no pain. Ilene, Fred & Debbie u know how I feel for u!!  So happy that Tim got to know u as I do!! We love u!! Prayers to get through this difficult time.  Bev & Tim

Mr. Webb is survived by his wife, Ilene Webb; one son, Fred Webb and wife, Janiece; one daughter, Debbie Orick and husband, Jerry; seven grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Hillard and Nealie Webb and two brothers, Danny Joe Webb and Floyd David Webb.
