Virginia Lee Wagoner

Virginia Lee Wagoner of Fort Smith, Arkansas passed from this life, April 13, 2024 in Fort Smith. She was born May 16, 1950 in Booneville, Arkansas. Virginia was retired from Walmart after 30 years of service and was a member of the Church of Christ.

She was preceded in death by her parents, George “Boots” and Ruby Goodwin of Booneville and her son, Larry “Jason” Wagoner of Nashville, Tennessee.

She is survived by her brother, Buddy Goodwin and wife, Sandy of Little Rock; a son, Michael Wagoner and wife, Tonya of Huntington; one daughter, Kelly Wagoner of Fort Smith; daughter-in-law, Jill Wagoner of Mount Juliet, TN; grandchildren, Allison Watts of Fort Smith, Rachel James and husband, Tyler of Greenwood, Kyndall Watts of Poteau, OK, Rheding Melton and husband, Jake of Fort Smith, Hannah Wagoner of Mount Juliet, TN, Raylee Wagoner of Huntington, AR, Sophie Wagoner of Mount Juliet, TN and Leah Watts of Fort Smith; great grandchildren, Ivy Jane and Rawlings James of Greenwood, Sutton Melton of Fort Smith; her aunt, Marilyn Jones of Booneville and uncle, Lewis Goodwin and wife, Leah of Bauxite, AR.

Virginia was a wonderful mother and grandmother, who will be deeply missed and forever cherished.

The family will have a private celebration of life at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of McConnell Funeral Home of Greenwood.
