Thomas Dale Trotter

Thomas Dale Trotter, 81, of Hackett, Arkansas passed away Monday, October 16, 2023 in his home. He was retired after 35 years of service from the Arkansas Highway Department. He was a past president and member of the James Fork Riding Club; he loved the Old Fort Days Rodeo. He was born July 31, 1942 in Hackett, Arkansas to John and Shirley (Richmond) Trotter.

He is survived by one son, Travis Trotter of Hackett; one daughter, Dee Stonebraker and husband, Ray of North Little Rock; three brothers, J.C. Trotter of Lavaca, Max Trotter of Calico Rock and Robin Trotter of Hackett; three sisters, Erma Moore, Alice McBride of Hackett and JoAnne Trotter of Fort Smith; four grandchildren, Dillan Trotter, Lauren Steffy, Jeannette Miller and Jennifer Cruz and three great grandchildren, Grace Olivia Steffy, Zoey Snider and Victoria Miller. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Mildred Trotter and a brother, Bill Trotter.

Graveside service will be 2 p.m., Monday, October 23 at Macedonia Cemetery in Pocola under the direction of McConnell Funeral Home of Greenwood. Viewing will be Sunday from 1 – 7 p.m. at the funeral home, where the family will visit with friends from 5 – 7 p.m.
