Terry Dwain Barnhill passed from this life into the arms of his Savior, Jesus Christ on Saturday, October 19, 2024 at the age of 76. At the time of his death, he was surrounded by his adoring family at his home in Greenwood, Arkansas. Terry was born on August 15, 1948 in Walnut Ridge, Arkansas to the late Charles Allen Barnhill and Virginia Maziebelle Blackshear Barnhill. Terry’s life was built around his faith, his children and grandchildren, and his many, many hobbies.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Charles Jerry Barnhill. He is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Jane Alderson Barnhill of the home; one brother, Gary Dale Barnhill and wife, Sharon of Portia, Arkansas; daughter, Erin Leigh Barnhill Bartlett and husband, Travis of Greenwood and son, Kyle Allen Barnhill and wife, Amy of Sugar Land, Texas. Terry and Jane were blessed with six beautiful grandchildren, Blake Bartlett and wife, Alyssa of Oklahoma City, Evan Bartlett of Fayetteville, Beau Bartlett of Greenwood and Georgia, Augustus and Owen Barnhill of Sugar Land.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 22 at Greenwood First Baptist Church under the direction of McConnell Funeral Home and officiated by Pastor Ronnie Deal. The family will be present at the church to visit with friends and family preceding the service from 12:30-1:45 p.m.
