Patsy June Johnson, 68, of Fort Smith died Monday, December 26, 2011 in Fort Smith. She was a homemaker, member of Central Baptist Church, and was preceded in death by her husband, Pete Johnson and one brother, Charles E. Carter.
She is survived by one daughter, Kimberly Henry of Greenwood; three sons, Rick John son of Wetumpka, AL, Rodney Johnson of Fort Smith, and Robert Johnson of Fort Smith; one sister, Peggy Green of Lavaca; two brothers, Jerry Carter of Greenwood and Terry Carter of Lavaca; nine grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Funeral service will be 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, December 28 at McConnell Funeral Home Chapel in Greenwood, with burial at Liberty Cemetery. Viewing will be 1:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home, where the family will visit with friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Pallbearers will be Cody Johnson, Corey Johnson, Jimmy Carter, Dale Carter, Zach Carter, and Gerry Vaughn.
