Nicholas Andrew Stephens was a young man with a giant heart. He brought constant joyful laughter to those around him. He was a zealous servant of God who graced his friends and family with unmatched generosity. He was excited about life and found happiness in every detail. He was a husband, son and brother who will be missed and always loved by those who knew him. Nicholas passed away Monday, June 16, 2014 while working in Oklahoma; he was born May 29, 1988. He was employed by T-Net Computer and was a member of Potter’s House Apostolic Church in Fort Smith.
Funeral service will be 10 a.m., Friday, June 20, 2014 at McConnell Funeral Home Chapel in Greenwood with burial at Clark’s Chapel Cemetery. Viewing will be Thursday from 1 – 7 p.m. at the funeral home, where the family will visit with friends from 5 – 7 p.m.
He is survived by his wife, Kodee Bel Stephens; his parents, Carrol and Polly Stephens of Huntington; three brothers, Chris Stephens and wife, Leslie of Savannah, GA, Greg Stephens and wife, Kristen of Fort Smith, Jason Stephens and wife, Heather of Greenwood; two sisters, April Stephens of Huntington and Angel Bennett and husband, Allen of Gulf Shores, AL; grandparents, Joyce King of Huntington and E.L. and Laverne Redding of VanBuren; his father and mother-in-law, Jim and Tina Foughty of Fort Smith and ten nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Bobby Gene King, Sr. and Triston Lee Stephens.
Pallbearers will be Gregory Stephens, Christopher Stephens, Jason Stephens, Richard Carroll, Eric Bogner and Jason Spicer. Honorary pallbearers will be Charles Branch, Adam Wald, Jared Polk, Mark Polk and Troy White.
