Born on August 6, 2004, in Fort Smith, Arkansas, Maverick entered the world as a bundle of joy, touching the lives of everyone around him. He was the cherished son of Christopher Graham and Leslie Graham, who both adored him deeply. From the start, Maverick displayed an old soul and a laid-back spirit, carrying a quiet wisdom beyond his years.
Maverick embraced life with a boundless thirst for adventure, always meticulously planning his next escapade. He sought to experience life in its fullest form, treasuring the great outdoors—whether kayaking, fishing, practicing his aim, or learning to hunt. He also found profound joy in music, immersing himself in the rhythm and melodies that spoke to his adventurous and soulful nature. Whether listening to his favorite songs or playing music, it became a source of inspiration and comfort in his life.
Above all, he loved spending time with family and friends, creating unforgettable memories with those he held dear. Known for his determined work ethic, Maverick approached everything on "Maverick time," putting his heart into all he did. He was unwavering in his belief in investing in what brought joy, and his unique gift for accepting others without judgment endeared him to many.
His laughter was a light that could brighten the darkest of days and will be remembered with love and gratitude. Maverick will forever live on in our hearts and minds.
Maverick is survived by his father, Christopher Graham and wife, Lyndsay Graham; his mother, Leslie (Carter) Graham and fiancé, Jake Samson; paternal grandmother, Dawn Eckles and husband, Bill; maternal grandparents, Harold and Rebecca Carter; paternal grandfather, David Graham and wife, Brenda; brother, Braxton Horne; sister, Lorelai Graham; three step-sisters and countless family and friends.
As we bid farewell, we find comfort in knowing we will one day reunite on God's green golf course, sharing laughs and driving balls once more.
