Mary Ledbetter

Mary Frances Ledbetter died May 30, 2018 in Ft Smith, Arkansas. She is preceded in death by her husband, Donald Ledbetter; parents, Truman and Pearl Baker; sister, Bettye Stane and brother, Buster Baker.

She is survived by two daughters, Peggy Mabry and Kathy Jones and husband, John; three grandchildren Morgan Bledsoe, Eric Mabry and wife, Sara and Tracee McCartney and husband, Derrick; four great grandchildren, Kelsey and Ava McCartney, Asher Gonzalez and Adilynn Mabry; sister and brother-in-law, Diana and Tommy Roberts and brother, Jerry Baker.

Mary was truly passionate about researching the history of her descendents involved in the Mountain Meadows Massacre in Utah. Her research and determination was instrumental in establishing a national monument dedicated to the families slain at The Meadows.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
