I wasn’t aware we could “share a memory” until now. I think of Lisa all the time. She was a co-worker, a friend, someone I could count on and trust. She was funny, loving, could make you laugh, and would make some of the funniest faces I’ve ever seen. She loved her children more than anything in the World. She loved Jason and was so happy he was in her life. Being a Nurse wasn’t her “job” it was her “calling”.  She loved arts and crafts and setting up for parties and always had an idea for everything; she was so smart.  For Christmas one year we made reindeer out of vag specs and named them. She and I got a kick out of it and we laughed and laughed. I still have mine.  Lisa is the 2nd friend I’ve lost this year.  If I could say one thing to her before she went, I would tell her thank you. Thank you for being such a good friend, for loving me, all of me, the good the bad the crazy. Thank you for being you! All of you. I would tell her not to worry, her kids would be okay, that she gave them enough love for them to remember her, to tell God to save me a place up there and most importantly, I’d tell her she didn’t just change or save lives, she saved the World. Lisa, you’re always in my heart and mind. I’ll never forget you my dear friend. 

My sincere condolences, I had the privilege of working with Lisa at Shiloh Clinic. She was a fantastic nurse, kind, caring & fun to be around. I will miss our conversations we had about all kinds of things, but I mostly enjoyed how she spoke so lovingly about her husband & her sweet children. She will live on in our hearts. I pray that your memories of all the happy times you shared will help you all through this very difficult time.

I cannot imagine the grief you are all feeling. I had the privilege of working as a nurse beside Lisa these last 5 years. And it was an honor. Know that her Shiloh Family loves and respects her. Sending love and comfort  to all. The world has lost one of its very best. Vickie

Jason, I can not imagine your grief. My prayers are with you and your family. May her memory be a blessing. 

She a great friend and was great person that would help in school and out of school she will be miss alot.

Sandy, I am so very sorry for the pain you are going through. My thoughts are with you & her whole family especially her children. My heart is just breaking for all of you.


Lisa and I were best friends before we ever even started school. We met in the Sunday school nursery and we were basically tied at the hip until my family moved to Ohio during 6th grade. We stayed at each other’s houses all the time; played sports, Girl Scouts and square danced together, in the same group.  She was such an amazing person and had a huge impact in my life. I will always cherish all of our memories that were full of laughter and friendship. Some of my favorite memories are playing on “cow patty island” (as we deemed it)  at her parents farm and we used to try and ride the calves. We also taunted many tarantulas and snapping turtles. We laughed for hours on Saturday nights into the wee hours of the morning until her Mom Sandi would remind us (sometimes several times) that we had church early in the morning. We lost contact over the years but would occasionally check in with each other. Recently, we’ve connected about our sewing/ crafting and were sharing tips and sewing machine struggles with each other. When I think of my life in Arkansas, I think of Lisa and all of our amazing adventures and memories. I will forever be thankful she has been a part of my life. I am thinking of you all.

 We will always look back and smile at the time when  we took Lisa and Elisha to Tulsa to see Aladdin on Ice.  They had so much fun.   We all had so much fun. 

We will certainly miss her.  She is in God’s hands now and we pray for Him to give you much strength and comfort to carry you through.
