Keiko Hopson

Keiko Hopson, 73, of Fort Smith, Arkansas passed away Thursday, July 11, 2024 in MD Anderson Medical Center in Houston, Texas. She was quality control for Pradco Outdoor Brands/Ebsco for 44 years. She worshipped with First Baptist Church on Grand.

Funeral service will be 2 pm Friday at McConnell Funeral Home Chapel in Greenwood, Arkansas with interment at Oak Cemetery in Fort Smith. Viewing will be from 1-7 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home, where the family will visit with friends from 5-7 p.m.

She is survived by her daughter, Michelle Cruz and Jeffery Gilbreth of Van Buren; one brother and three sisters of Japan; a son-in-law, Rick Cruz of Van Buren; daughter-in-law, Kendra Hopson of Poteau, Oklahoma; five grandchildren, Mileena and Alex Johnson, Brooklyn Cruz, Nicholas Hopson, Alyssa Hopson and Lauren Hopson; one great grandchild, Sylvia Arrellano and one great grandchild on the way. She was preceded in death by her husband, Conley Hopson; her son, Michael Hopson and her parents, Kyujiro and Haru Karube.
