Katherine Irene McDaniel

Katherine Irene McDaniel, 82, of Fort Smith, Arkansas passed away Tuesday, November 29, 2011 in a Fort Smith hospital. She was retired from Whirlpool, member of Faith Baptist Church and was preceded in death by her husband, Adolphe McDaniel and her daughter-in-law, Dusty McDaniel.

Funeral service will be 10 am Thursday, December 1, 2011 at McConnell Funeral Home Chapel in Greenwood with burial at Dawson Cemetery in Milltown. Viewing will be Wednesday from 1 – 9 pm at the funeral home, where the family will visit with friends from 5 – 7 pm.

She is survived by two sons, Stan McDaniel and wife, Jo Ann of Fort Smith and Wes McDaniel of London, AR; two grandchildren, Sara McDaniel of Chicago, IL and Megan Goins and husband, Trent of Fort Smith; her sister-in-law, Maebelle Steele of Fort Smith and other family and friends including special friends at Willow Brook.
