Joyce Faye (Rose) McGahan, 71, of Abbott in Scott County, Arkansas went to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday, October 22, 2021 at her home. She was born February 2, 1950 in Waldron, Arkansas to Herman Ellis and Lovie Mae (Thomas) Rose. She married the love of her life, Rev. Gerald Dewayne McGahan on February 3, 1973 in Needmore, Arkansas. Joyce was a homemaker and member of the Needmore Assembly of God Church.

She is survived by her husband, Rev. Gerald McGahan, a sister, Ida Mae Rose and her brothers, Orvel Ellis Rose, Everett Warren Rose and Floyd Edison Rose, all of Waldron.

Funeral service will be 10 a.m., Wednesday, November 3 at McConnell Funeral Home Chapel in Greenwood with burial at Mount Harmony Cemetery. Viewing will be Tuesday from 1 – 7 p.m. at the funeral home. Rev. David Holt of Needmore Assembly of God Church will be officiating.

Mrs. McGahan is survived by her husband, Rev. Gerald McGahan, a sister, Ida Mae Rose and her brothers, Orvel Ellis Rose, Everett Warren Rose and Floyd Edison Rose, all of Waldron. She was preceded in death by her parents, Herman Ellis and Lovie Mae (Thomas) Rose.
