Johnny Lee Sanders

Johnny Lee Sanders, 81, of Fort Smith, Arkansas passed away Wednesday, November 13, 2024 in his home surrounded by family. He was retired from Baldor after 22 years, a Vietnam Army veteran and of the Baptist faith.

A memorial service with military honors will be at 12:00 pm Saturday, November 16 at Centerpoint Landmark Missionary Baptist Church in Hartman, Arkansas with interment later in Jackson cemetery in Franklin County. The family will visit following the service.

He is survived by his wife, Bonnie Corraine Sanders of the home; two daughters, Sandra Rye and husband Damon of Fort Smith and Paula James and husband, Ronnie of Altus; three grandchildren, Deanna Randolph and husband, Josh of Greenwood, Colt Johnson and wife, Shae of Ozark and Sam Easom and friend, Pam Cagle of Ozark; nine great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Lavonne Sanders, two sisters Phyllis Sanders and Betty Allred.
