Jerry Recie Mitchell, Sr., 71 of Hartford, Arkansas passed away Saturday, March 15, 2014 in his home. He was a retired machinist, Army veteran of the Korean War and member of Victory Temple.
Viewing will be Saturday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at McConnell Funeral Home in Greenwood. A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, March 23 at Victory Temple in Fort Smith.
He is survived by his wife, Joyce; two sons, Jerry Mitchell, Jr of Coquille, OR. and Jack Samuels of Fort Smith; two daughters, Julie Mitchell of Bowling Green, KY and April Anderson of Pocola, OK; one sister, Shellie Mitchell of Edmond, OK; seven grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
