Hazel Norried King

Hazel Norried King, 96 of Greenwood went to her heavenly home Monday, August 25, 2014 in Greenwood. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Harvey Norried and Jewell King; her daughters, Joyce Tankersley and her husband, Kenneth and Barbara Webb and her husband, Lowell; her brothers, John Farr, Jr. and William Farr and his wife, Ellen.

Funeral service will be 10 a.m. Saturday, August 30, at McConnell Funeral Home of Greenwood with burial at Dawson Cemetery in Milltown. Viewing will be Friday from 1 – 8 p.m. at the funeral home, where the family will visit with friends from 6 – 8 p.m.

She is survived by one daughter, Lois Elmore and husband, Charles of Greenwood; two step-sons, Willard King of Tennessee and Jimmy King and wife, JoEtta of Texas; a sister-in-law, Beatrice Farr of Mississippi; two nieces, Janie Farlee and Deloris Burch of Mississippi. She was Grannie to seven grandchildren, Randall Elmore, Regina Cantrell, Dee Brian Tankersley, Lisa Palmer, Jeremey Webb, Justin Webb and Tanya Bivins. She had twelve great grandchildren, they were the love of her life.

Pallbearers will be Jeremey Webb, Justin Webb, Jesse Elmore, Harley Elmore, Caleb Bivins, Christian Palmer and Zachary Cantrell.
