Gretchen..I am sorta out of the loop living so far away....just now read where Frances passed away....like all of us at some point in our lives...we lose our parents...very sad time...but remember the memories forever....Kay (Hunter) and Paul Key

Francis was truly a woman who lived her life for others. She was my benefactor on many occasions. She always saw that I was dressed properly for all high school formal  occasions. Always quietly and without fanfare and ALWAYS  making sure neither my parents nor myself felt awkward about her offerings of formal wear, she would simply call and ask my parents if they would give her the honor of providing my attire for the event in question. Then always thanking me for allowing her the chance to share my occasion.  I will forever also hold dear the trip she, my grandmother and I shared when she travelled with us on our way home to New Mexico after one of my first trips back home for a visit after I had moved from Arkansas to NM. Janie was living about 200 miles south of my four corners home. She was going to visit Janie and was all giggly at the very thought of our road trip. Oh, what fun and joy that trip became. Her deep laughter as she shared her stories of life. Truly one of the grandest of ladies of Huntington. She will always be held close to my heart.

Frances was a friend to all she met.  I first knew of her when I began teaching in 1958-59 at Mansfield, where I knew her children, and then in later years was privileged to bring my Mother to attend the Hartford Methodist Bible Study with her for several months after my retirement.  She was always positive, friendly, and encouraging, and the love of Jesus shone brightly in her.  She truly was beautiful both inside and out, a wonderful example of a true Christian lady.

Huntington lost a great lady, one of the best, always friendly and willing to do whatever to help people.  She will be missed by so many!  So sorry for your loss!

There's not one person who can saw that they grew up in Huntington and didn't feel the love and touch of Frances Robinson.  I went to church with her many years and she took her Christianity out into the world everyday.  My first memory of her is when she was working with Dr. Merle.  Never left that place without a hug.  Huntington lost it's last 'Southern Belle". God bless all of the family

Francis Robison was a beautiful woman inside and out.  Everytime I saw her she was smiling and friendly. I knew her all my life through events at the Mansfield and Huntington Methodist churches.  She was a fine example of what a Godly woman should be.  She will be greatly missed.

Frances was the epitome of Southern grace and charm, kindness and beauty. This is the end of an era in Huntington with her passing, almost all of the original families have left us. Such cherished memories when we were children. Frances and Jim were such a strong and positive influence in Huntington for so many people. She will be missed but never forgotten. Love and peace to family.

She was one of the sweetest ladies I have ever known.  She was such a role model and very classy lady. Your parents were great Christian people that everyone loved. My thoughts and prayers are with you.
