Floyd M. Griffin, 76, of Fort Smith, died Sunday, January 12, 2014 in Greenwood. He was retired from Whirlpool, 32nd degree mason, Western Arkansas Scottish Rite, Temple Lodge #755, and a veteran of the U.S. Navy.
He is survived by his wife, Karen; one daughter, Lisa Huckelbury and husband, Bob of Fort Smith; one son, Greg Griffin of Fort Smith; one sister, Louise Willis of Fort Smith, four grandchildren, Jessica and Jack Griffin, and Ayden and Griffin Huckelbury, and two nieces, Jan Burgess and Jill Mays.
Graveside service will be 2 p.m., Thursday, January 16, 2014 at the U.S. National Cemetery in Fort Smith under the direction of McConnell Funeral Home of Greenwood. Viewing will be 9 a.m. to noon, Thursday at the funeral home.
