Floyd R. Chapman, 87, of Mansfield, Arkansas passed away Tuesday, March 14, 2017 at Pink Bud Nursing Home in Greenwood, Arkansas. He was born July 13, 1929 in Beggs, Oklahoma to John and Ruby Chapman. He was retired from Baldor, a proud veteran of the Korean War and a lifetime member of the V.F.W.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 64 years, Anna Margaret “Mickey” Chapman. He is survived by his four children, Michael Chapman of Wagoner, Oklahoma, Steven Chapman of Miami Beach, Florida, Laura Carter and husband, Jerry of Mansfield and Chuck Chapman and wife, Jan of Huntington; seven grandchildren, ten great grandchildren and one great great granddaughter.
Graveside service will be 12 noon., Saturday, March 18, at Pleasant Grove Cemetery #2 in Abbott under the direction of McConnell Funeral Home of Greenwood.
Pallbearers will be Mike Carter, Bryan Carter, Jason Chapman, Ryan Carter, Jason Thompson and Jerry Carter.
