Florence (Barnes) Heavener Seely, 94 of Mansfield, Arkansas passed away Thursday, October 12, 2023 peacefully in her home. She was an inspector for Pepsi Cola, member of James Fork Baptist Church and member of the Veteran of Foreign Wars Auxiliary.
She is survived by one daughter, Brenda Wooten and husband, Wayne of Hartford; one sister, Edith Burrows and husband, Neal of Mansfield; one brother, Dean Barnes and wife, Anna Lee of Greenwood; five grandchildren, Scott Wooten and wife, Jackie, Nathan Wooten and wife, Tammy, Makayla Wooten, Nicholas Holbert and wife, Bambi and Chad Holbert; two grandchildren, Laitlyn and Zayden and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, Matthew Heavener and Reginald Seely; one daughter, Beverly Holbert and husband Steve; seven siblings, AC Barnes, Alfred Barnes, Clarance Barnes, Charles Barnes, Monroe Barnes, and Juanita Buckman.
Funeral service will be 1 pm Wednesday, October 18 at James Fork Baptist Church with interment at Hartford Memorial Park under the direction of McConnell Funeral Home in Greenwood. Viewing will be Tuesday from 1:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home, where family will visit with friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
Pallbearers will be Kenneth Dean Barnes, Scott Wooten, Nathan Wooten and Wesley Callahan.
