Everett Recil Hamilton, 94, passed away Saturday, January 7, 2012 at his home near Hackett, Arkansas. He was a fifty year plus member of the Amity Lodge #267 F&AM, a farmer and cattleman, and the retired owner of Hackett Butane Company of Hackett. Everett enjoyed playing Dominoes with his Hackett friends. He is preceded in death by his wife Reba Colley Hamilton, two sons, Roger Dale and Billy Dean Hamilton, and a granddaughter, Paula Kay Hamilton.
Funeral service will be at 2:00 P.M. Monday, January 9, 2012 at the McConnell Funeral Home Chapel in Greenwood with interment at Mount Zion Cemetery under the direction of McConnell Funeral Home of Greenwood.
Survivors include his daughter-in-law, Tommie Hamilton of Hackett; son, Roy Gene Hamilton of Wilburton, OK; a sister, Kristena Fulgham of Hackett; a brother, Howard Hamilton of Fort Smith, AR; five grandchildren and their spouses, Bryan and Pam Stewart, Donald and Debbie Hamilton, Charlie and Becky Hamilton, Mark and Linda Kovalck, Bill and Tanyia Hamilton; seven great grandchildren; and seven great great graandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Johnny Gamble, Ken Hamilton, Gary Fulgham, Charles Hamilton, Donald Trotter, and J. C. Hamilton. Honorary pallbearers will be Bob Boyette, Chad Hamilton, Ricky Davis, Steve Hamilton, and Billy Dean Hamilton, Jr.
