Dennis Day Shankle, 62, of Monroe, Oklahoma passed away Monday, June 1, 2020 in Fort Smith, Arkansas. He was preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Derotha Shankle; two brothers, Gary and Forrest Shankle and nephew, Jay Shankle.

Graveside service will be 10 am Thursday, June 4 at Hartford Memorial Park under the direction of McConnell Funeral Home in Greenwood, Arkansas. Viewing will be Wednesday from 12:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

He is survived by his brother, Robert Shankle and wife, Connie of Monroe; a sister-in-law, Jean Anne Shankle; one nephew, Trevor Shankle; two nieces, Devin Covey and Kayleigh Shankle; two great nephews, Jaxyn Shankle and Andruw Covey and one great niece, Brooklyn Shipman.
