I met Charles and his lovely wife at church “open door”! They were very nice couple, i hated to hear this happened to such a nice guy! CHARLES BRONSON. Was a name that I thought his name tag said… RIP sir my prayers are with your family!

When Charles and I were in California together around 1990, we went to a Christian Singles retreat. There were a couple of ladies who attended with their children, ages around 10 years old. Two of the boys were assigned to our cabin and we decided to take them Snipe Hunting late at night. For those of you that do not know, there is no such thing as a Snipe, but they are portrayed with many different characteristics, depending on the audience. We told the boys that they are flightless birds but were real fast runners, so we had a large pasture in this retreat area that we had the boys run a line of toilet paper out about 100 yards to form a funnel to direct the Snipe into it. We had the boys at the end of the funnel with plastic bags and told them we would go out into the woods and scare the snipe. The toilet paper would send them directly into their awaiting plastic bags. We left the boys out there by themselves and went to bed. About an hour later the boys came into the cabin upset because they didn't catch anything.

I knew Charles for quite awhile when he lived in Blanchard Oklahoma,he was the first one to loan me clothes to put on when our house burnt,I will miss him,and we send our condolences, from Kenny and Donna Smith,and LaDonna, and Melissa wiyninger.



Charles was as genuine and loyal as they come.  A good man and a good friend to many. It has been a few years since we have seen each other,  but I think of Charles often.

When we lived in California, Charles would often say “ If the sun is shining you’ll l know where I’ll be, “ alluding that he’d be spending the day at the beach....even though he rarely made it happen.

Sharing a memorable day when Chuck got stuck in the boonies. It was a complete mess on the job but he always had a smile on his face.  We here at Eagle Redi-Mix will miss him. He was always my go-to guy! Godspeed Chuck 

I had always had such a clear, fond memory of this guy named Charles who went to Disney Land with us when I was a very young child. He was a friend of my uncle’s, someone I had never met, but he rode the Dumbo ride with me and won over my heart. Many years later, we moved to Oklahoma to be closer to family. I met a girl from a neighboring town and we became best friends in an instant. What a wonderful surprise it was to discover that the Charles from my childhood was, in fact, the man who raised my new best friend.  I love you all very much ❤️❤️❤️

Woody & I have so many wonderful memories spending time with Charles and Terry having bon fires.  They were some great times and a lot of fun. Also all the times on the retreats just hanging out. We remember coming out to Blanchard to be a part of the clean up crew after the tornado and just being there for them.  
Our friendship was a really great one. Love to you all. You will be missed Charles🌹❤️

Mr. Brunson is survived by his wife, Terry Brunson; his mother, Jennetta Brunson; three daughters, Lindsay Pewett of Guthrie, OK, Tara Ragsdale of Moore, OK and Alexandria Mount of Fort Myers, FL; three brothers, Billy Brunson, Darrell Brunson and Jimmy Brunson; one sister, Patty Guyer and seven grandchildren.
