He was a retired dairy farmer and rancher, and because of that, he was a jack of all trades. Once he retired, he enjoyed working with wood. He made beautiful cedar chests, beds, tables, lawn furniture, and picnic tables. He loved to restore old wagons and doctor buggies, working alongside his brother, Tommy. He never met a stranger and ALWAYS had a joke for you. Bobby was kind-hearted, giving, and always willing to lend a hand. He loved to listen to gospel music and good preaching, especially that of his grandson, Jake-O.
Bobby is survived by his daughter, Penny Smith and husband, Tracy of Hackett; two sons, Bobby Scott Black and wife, Rhonda of Bonanza and Damon Black and his wife, Melanie of Hackett; two brothers, Tommy Black and Jimmy Black; two sisters, Wanda Moody and Sue Owenby; six grandchildren, Jake Black, Janessa Clark, Kennedy Hill, Kristian Brown, Eli Smith and Maddy Dunn; ten great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Helen Black and two brothers, Sammy Black and Bill Black.
