Betty Rose (Freeman) Rush was born on May 24, 1947 to William “Birdie” and Katy (Harris) Freeman of Greenwood Arkansas. She passed from this life on February 29, 2024 in her home surrounded by family.
Betty enjoyed running after her many grand and great grandchildren. She was an avid homemaker and was passionate about baking, crocheting and quilting. She and her husband shared a love for classic cars. In their retirement years, Betty and her husband enjoyed traveling and visiting friends and family.
Betty is survived by her husband, Donald L. Rush, Sr. of Greenwood Arkansas; her siblings, Ruby Moore, Jack Freeman, Harold Freeman, Norma Tracy and DaNeal Nelson; her children, Beth Allen and husband, Mark, Michael Rush, DeAnna Coker and husband, Ray, Brandy Oaks, Jeff Rush and wife, Tracy and Scott Buttler and wife, Jennifer and she was blessed with many grand and great grandchildren.
Betty was preceded in death by her parents, William Birdie and Katy Freeman and sons, Don Rush, Jr. and David Rush.
A family led memorial service will be 12 p.m. on Monday, March 4 at Evans Cemetery located in Greenwood, Arkansas. Arrangements are under the direction of McConnell Funeral Home of Greenwood.
