William Griffin Lambert

After living with cancer for 10 years, Griff Lambert passed away December 25th with his family by his side. He was born to James A. and Frances Lambert on March 24, 1938 in Jersey City, NJ. He graduated from Darien High School and Parks Aeronautical College in East St. Louis, MO. He enjoyed a successful career of over 40 years with TWA. His passions in life were his family, airplanes and Scarpelli’s sausage.

He is survived by his wife Karol of 49 years, his three children; William G. Lambert Jr. and his wife Koren, Kathryn McNamara and her husband, Bill,and Barbara McLellan and her husband Wayne. He is also survived by his five grandchildren; Rebecca, Foster, James, Kevin and Griffin.

Friends may call on Sunday, December 28th from 2-6pm at the Leo P. Gallagher & Son Funeral Home 31 Arch Street Greenwich, CT. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10:30am on Monday, December 29th at St. Agnes Church, 247 Stanwich road Greenwich, CT. Interment will be held privately at a later date.
