Our beloved brother, cousin, uncle, “step- dad” and friend, Thomas “Tommy” Belluci, of Greenwich, CT, passed away on April 6, 2024, at the age of 62. He was born in Yonkers, NY, to Patrick and Anneliese (née Stoever), who have predeceased him.
Our gregarious and fun-loving Tommy was an entrepreneur (just like his parents), a natural with numbers, and a whiz at stock predictions. He possessed an expert-level of knowledge on guns, blades/swords, all things martial arts, and motorcycles, and was, arguably, dubbed “the most interesting man in the world” among his friends. Tommy proudly earned his black belt (1st dan) in karate (Okinawan Shorin-Ryu) in 1987 from the Lou Stanishia Martial Arts school in Yorktown Heights, NY, and loved reminiscing on those many years in the dojo and the people he grew to love. As he loved meeting new people, he had traveled the world over, from Germany, to Aruba, to the Philippines, where he's taken the love of his life and partner in travel, Teresita Lazala Stanishia (predeceased), to visit her family, just to name a few of where he’s been. Tommy was always ready to go to a live music concert, asking when the next show will be, and readily sharing a new song he overheard on the radio with another music lover. However, he's regretted not ever learning how to play the guitar.
He is survived by his many cousins, “adopted” family, and many friends that loved him. We will miss his good-naturedness, ready smiles, endearing positivity, kindness, generosity, and friendship. How we wish you were still here, dear friend.
