Pier Anselmo Landman, a longtime resident of Greenwich, Connecticut, died peacefully on December 5, 2022 at age 69. She is survived by her two brothers, two daughters, and three grandsons. Pier is predeceased by both of her parents, Rene and Mary Anselmo.
Pier was born and raised in Mexico City and then moved to the States as a young teen. She graduated from the Lycée Français de New York and went on to study at Parsons School of Design. After a successful career as a graphic designer and illustrator, Pier devoted herself to caring for her daughters and later doting on her grandsons. She continued work on her art throughout her life by creating illustrations and portraits for the people she held dear and took great pride in producing her annual Christmas card. Pier loved to travel and spoke three languages fluently. She enjoyed museums, cinema, music, and dance. She aspired to create beauty and love in her world and the world around her.
Pier will be remembered for her warmth, kindness, generosity, sense of humor, great beauty and timeless style.
