Lee (Leland) Aaron Cohen, longtime resident of Greenwich and Stamford, passed away on Monday, the 26th of February from heart failure. He was 70.
Born in Brooklyn, NY, he was the son of Ernest and Natalie Cohen. He graduated from Greenwich High School Class of ‘72. He was a happily retired Mechanic that worked for the Town of Greenwich.
He enjoyed motorcycles, muscle cars and was an avid collector of watches, knives and swords. He will be remembered for his love of the open road, bowling and darts. He loved nature and had an affection for non-traditional pets like hermit crabs, a turtle, a crow, Harley the Parrot and Freddy the Ferret. He was also a Boy Scout and enjoyed camping.
He is survived by his daughter Amanda Cohen, brothers Lewis Cohen and Gary Cohen and mother Natalie Cohen. He was predeceased by his father Ernest Cohen and brother Jacob Cohen.
