William A. “Bill” Hagood, 90, of Simpsonville, South Carolina passed away on June 22, 2024.
For 38 years Bill served in the Army, National Guard and Reserves. He retired from duty in 1990, last serving with Company A 111th Signal Battalion in Abbeville, SC. In addition to his service to our country, Bill worked as an accountant for many years.
Bill is survived by his children Emma Jo Hagood Elliott (Chip), Leslie Ann Hagood Campbell (David), Lisa Hagood Hawthorne (James), and William A. “Andy” Hagood, Jr. eight grandchildren, and three great grandchildren. He was predeceased by his parents, wife, brother and three sisters.
