Mr. William Louis Gray, 65, of Greenville, SC, departed his life on Friday morning, March 29th, 2019. He was the son of the late William Charles Gray and Earlene Gray. In 1970, he graduated from Wade Hampton High School before serving for the US Army in the Vietnam War. At an early age, he joined Mt. Sinai Baptist Church where served as an usher on the usher board. He was preceded in death by two daughters, Brandy Gray and Stephanie Gray.
Left to cherish fond and loving memories are son, Cedric (Kimberley) Gray of Taylors, SC and daughters, Tiffany Kelly (Herman) of Greer, SC and April Bowman (Warrick) of Taylors, SC and their mother, Bobbie Gray of Greenville, SC; son, Zacharias Scott of Greenville, SC and daughter, Adiah Gray of Greenville, SC and their mother, Vernicia Gray of Simpsonville, SC; sister, Darlene Williams of Moonville, SC; brother, Robert (Donna) Gray of Simpsonville, SC; eight grandchildren; and a host of other family members.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Mt. Sinai Missionary Baptist Church, 1101 Roe Ford Rd., Greenville, SC 29617.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Sunday, April 7, 2019 at Mt. Sinai Missionary Baptist Church, with Dr. Toney C. Parks officiating; burial will be held 3:00 PM Monday, April 8, 2019 at M.J. "Dolly" Cooper Veterans Cemetery in Anderson, SC. Arrangements by Mackey Funerals and Cremations at Century Drive.
