Von graduated from Piedmont High School and Draughn’s Business College. She retired from Liberty Life Insurance Company where she worked for over 26 years. She was a member of Piedmont First Baptist Church.
Von is survived by her daughter-in-law Kay Stover Neves (Lonnie); her stepson Jeff Dilleshaw (Sheila), and her granddaughters Racheal Stover Garrison (Jeff), Amy Stover Black, Robin Stover Cartee (Jason), Lindsey Dilleshaw Smeardon (Blake), Kristen Dilleshaw Phillips (Jared), and Haleigh Dilleshaw Eleazer (Cameron).
Von was preceded in death by her late husband’s Edward Stover, William “Bill” Dilleshaw, and Cope Gambrell; her son Bobby Stover; her great granddaughter Collins Bradshaw Black, her father Carl Hughey and her mother Gladys Hughey; her brother Pete Hughey; her brother Jim Hughey and her sister Dot Hughey Burry.
Von also leaves behind many great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews who will miss her dearly.
A funeral service will be held Sunday, June 12, 2022 at 2:00 pm, at Mackey Funerals and Cremations at Woodlawn Memorial Park, 1 Pine Knoll Drive, Greenville, SC 29609, with a visitation starting at 1:00 pm. A committal service will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Von's memory may be made to Piedmont First Baptist Church.
