I can think about the time I went fishing with pop. It was a long time ago and we were just doing fishing things. My fishing rod was in the water and so was pop's. And then... I felt a tug a hard one pop helped me get it out of the water and then we pulled up a turtle! it was so cute!!!!!!!!!!!!   Then Quinn came over and she was shocked and ran screaming to Gram. He he That was a fun time that I will cherish forever and ever.

I rember when Pop took me in the woods to spraed corn that way the deer could eat it overnight. And we were on his 4 wheeler and we stopped at his little green cabin in the woods.  And we saw a snake I wans't sure if it was alive so pop took out a stick and poked it. It plopped on thye ground it was frozen and dead. It was fun spreading the corn out with pop and I cherished every moment of it.

Dearest Crystal, Tom & Cindy, Todd &Glenda, Jeff & Debra,  I grieve with you in your loss of Tom, and pray that you will be comforted to know he is redeemed and in the presence of the Lord Jesus (and I think Walt has already welcomed him, too!)  I love you very much.  Libby Handford

Tom was so happy and loved to tease his friends. 
Crystal and I were great friends in high school  and that friendship is still strong!  Tom and Crystal came to help celebrate my 80th birthday and he was still teasing me about things in our past. What a  jovial good man who loved the Lord!  Tom and Crystal raised their children in a Christian, God fearing home.  Tom will be missed by all of his loved ones but I’m sure they all will rejoice knowing that their husband, children and grandchildren is in the arms of Jesus.

I'm so sorry to hear this news. Mr. Giovanetti was my next door neighbor as a child. Jeff and I were great friends and we spent a lot of time together. Tom or Jake as we called each other would give me his Field and Stream magazines and let me look at his Foxfire books about hunting and trapping. He took me hunting for the first time and I can still remember that day with him and Jeff vividly. He was a great outdoorsman who loved to pass it on. My thoughts and prayers to the family during this difficult time. I still hunt and clean my guns every time just like he taught me to. I saw him several years ago in the service department waiting room and sat down with him and thanked him for what he had given me. Great man who made a difference in my life and I'm sure many others.

Rebecca and I are saddened to learn of Tom's passing.  He was a very good man and faithful follower of Christ
We extend our condolences to Crystal and all of the family, children and spouse whom we have been connected to all of you for a very long time.

Tom and I met over 35 years ago in Raleigh NC.. He was selling wildlife prints he had framed...a friend and I were selling hunting videos we had produced. We ended up trading videos for art work... I was shocked to learn his shop was a half mile from my house... He has ben to every critter cook we've had at church for the last 25 years. He would bring his artwork for everyone to enjoy.. Spent time on the water and in the woods with him..  no one loved the outdoors more than him.. He loved Crystal and his children and especially his grandchildren. we had some special times fishing at our pond.. he was such an inspiration along with Crystal she made sure he got to do what he wanted to do... Anyone else would be in front of the tv

Tom will be remembered by me as a brother in Christ and great friend. We had many discussions about biblical issues through the years and he enjoyed critiquing the Sunday School lessons I taught.
He graciously invited me to hunt deer and turkeys on his property near Honea Path. Those hunts usually concluded with breakfast at one of his favorite restaurants near by. I look forward to celebrating 
with Tom and other believing friends before the Lord Jesus Christ who is the basis for our relationship.
Crystal and the family are in our prayers.

Tom was a generous and kind individual with a ready smile and wonderful laugh. One day he was showing me around his property and we were talking deer hunting which was easy for both of us. A few days later Tom called me and asked “Mike, do you need a ladder stand?” Frankly, we were a bit short on income and how Tom figured out I needed a stand is beyond me. He gave me one that he had made. I was stunned but accepted his gift and used it for many, many years.
