Thomas Gene Massey, age 87, of Greenville, South Carolina passed away on Sunday, November 6, 2022.
Gene served proudly in the US Army and was a member of Augusta Road Baptist Church, Greenville SC. He worked for J.P. Stevens Textile Corporation for many years.
Gene is survived by his sons: Jeffery Massey of Greenville SC; and Wayne Massey of Piedmont, SC; grandson, Jake Massey and granddaughter, Jordan Massey both of Piedmont, SC. He was predeceased by his wife Sara Massey.
A visitation for Thomas will be held Wednesday, November 16, 2022 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Mackey Funerals and Cremations at Woodlawn Memorial Park, 1 Pine knoll Drive, Greenville, SC 29609. Following the visitation will be a graveside service at 11:00 AM at Woodlawn Memorial Park, 1 Pine Knoll Drive, Greenville, SC 29609.
