Theresa Mauvereen Jennings

Theresa was born the morning of February 21, 1950, to Ernest Lee Jennings Sr., and his wife Martha Poole Southerlin Jennings. She was their second child and only daughter, nine years younger than her older brother, Ernest Lee Jennings, Jr., who survives.

She attended Trinity Lutheran Elementary School and Sans Souci Elementary School. After attending Sans Souci Junior High School, she graduated from Parker High School in 1964. She obtained her Bachelor's (B.S.) Degree at Limestone College in 1993, and then her Masters in 1996. She had a long career as a project manager for Fluor Daniel, serving for 33 years until her retirement. In 1989 she gave birth to a daughter, Darcie Lane Jennings, who passed away in her infancy. Her main passion was the breeding and showing of Schnauzers.

She is survived of course by her brother Ernest Lee Jennings Jr., and his husband, Terry Christian; nephew Ernest Lee Jennings III of Mountain View, Tennessee; niece Christina Elizabeth Jennings of Woodstock, Ontario, Canada; Paige Cerys Jennings of Charleston, South Carolina; and her three sons, Theresa's grand-nephews.

A graveside service for Theresa will be held Friday, January 13, 2023 from 3:00 pm at Woodlawn Memorial Park, 1 Pine Knoll Drive, Greenville, SC 29609.
