Ted "Sonny" Siachos

Ted was a beloved husband, father, brother, uncle, and friend to many. He was born October 23, 1938, in Greenville, SC, to his late parents James and Maria Siachos, he was an avid puzzler, golfer, boater, card player, and sports enthusiast, he especially loved college football. He was a Citadel graduate, class of 1960, a life member of the Citadel Brigadier Foundation and was an entrepreneur. Known to both friends and family as honest to a fault, loving, caring, and a mentor to many. He has touched many and will be missed by all. He was the owner of Ted’s Kitchen in Greenville. He was president of M&T Enterprises Inc., a real estate holding company. Ted and Marsha started Christmas Tree of Love to provide Christmas for underprivileged children. They were able to provide Christmas for over 300 children a year and was given an award from the state of South Carolina.

Ted is survived by his wife of 43 years, Marsha Siachos. Children, Riley Siachos, Raegan Siachos, James Siachos (Dayro), and Maria Cromer. Sisters, Callie Castrinos, Georgia Case (Darrel), and Victoria Koppel. Ted also leaves behind numerous nieces and nephews to cherish his memory.

Ted is predeceased by his parents and his sister Marion Crawford.

A Visitation will be held Sunday, February 12, 2023 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Mackey Funerals and Cremations at Century Drive, 311 Century Drive, Greenville, SC 29607. The funeral service will be held at the Saint George Greek Orthodox Cathedral, Monday, February 13, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. and will be officiated by Father Tom Pistolis. A committal service will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park, 1 Pine Knoll Drive, Greenville, SC 29609.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in Sonny's memory may be made to Saint George Greek Orthodox Cathedral.
