Shirley was born January 30, 1934 to Beatrice Wilhoitt Owen and Charles Owen.
Shirley was a member of Bethel Baptist Church in Greenville SC. Shirley retired from Southern Bell where she served as an operator and business administrator.
Shirley loved being outdoors and sitting on her front and back porch. Her family said; "Mom loved being a porch dweller".
Shirley is survived by; son Steven Davis (Lynn); and son Will Davis (Leigh); granddaughter Jennifer Mullins (Randy); grandson Jason Davis (Lisa); granddaughter Makenzie Davis and brother Charles "Buddy" Owen.
Also left to cherish Shirley memory are 8 great grandchildren.
Shirley was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years Willis Davis Sr.; son Glen Davis; father Charles Owen and mother Beatrice Wilhoitt Owen.
A visitation for Shirley will be held Thursday, April 11, 2019 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Mackey Funerals and Cremations at Woodlawn Memorial Park, 1 Pine Knoll Drive, Greenville, SC 29609. A funeral service will occur Thursday, April 11, 2019 at 2:00 PM, in The Chapel at Mackey at Woodlawn Memorial Park with a burial following the service in Woodlawn Memorial Park.
