Scott was born in Chicago, IL on September 14, 1958 to the late Donald Paul Lewis and Eleanor Ann Lukina Lewis.
Scott retired from the Rock Island, IL Police Department and moved to Greenville, SC to attended Bob Jones University.
Scott enjoy driving and working as a motor coach operator for many years.
He was kind, loving and genuinely interested in every person he met, qualities and attributes easily recognized in his children.
Scott was married to Gail Lewis for 46 years and they were blessed with three sons: Andrew Lewis, Matthew Lewis (Holly), and Benjamin Lewis passed away in 1980; two daughters: Morgan Nelson (Jason) and Anna Lockaby (Matthew); seven grandchildren: Megan Smith Grant, Carson Lewis, Maxwell Lewis, Dylan Lewis, Brooklyn Lewis, Jase Lewis and Sabrina Nelson; siblings: Greg Lewis, Penelope Henson (Ron), Jeffry Lewis (Kathy), Jennifer Skahill (Michael) and Caroline Vinal (Phil).
