Sandra Elaine Nelson

She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Ray Nelson; a daughter, Robin Smith, and husband Sean Smith; granddaughter, Caroline Smith; and sister, Barbara McCoy. Sandra is predeceased by her brother, Joel Yown. All were richly blessed by her warmth and generosity.

Sandra retired from Bausch & Lomb after twenty-two years. She was an active member of Rock Springs Baptist Church, and her deep Christian faith was manifest in her love for others especially her family. Sandra was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, friend and neighbor.

A celebration of life will be held at 12:00 PM Saturday, May 13, 2023 at Rock Springs Baptist Church. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 11:00 to 11:45 AM. Burial will be held at 11:00 AM Monday, May 15, 2023 at Woodlawn Memorial Park, Greenville, SC.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Rock Springs Baptist Church, 201 Rock Springs Rd #1430, Easley, SC 29642.
