She is survived by her daughter Jan Jones (Rick); six grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her husband of seventy years George Thomas Brissey, Sr. and three sons: George Thomas Brissey, Jr, Robert Brian Brissey and Steve Graves Brissey.
Jane was a proud Greenville native and graduated from Greenville High School. She and Tom loved to tell stories and reminisce of their time together and adventures from their younger days. She found simple joy in car rides around the city admiring the changes and reflecting on the history.
Jane was a devoted homemaker and dedicated to her family. She was an avid reader and enjoyed playing card games or checkers. Spending a peaceful afternoon swinging in her front yard hammock and singing songs was the type of quiet happiness and everlasting memories she is cherished.
There will be a private family graveside service.
