Robert (Bob) Lindle White Jr., passed away on August 31, 2024 in Greer, SC at the age of 83. He was born on May 31, 1941 to Robert Lindle White and Mary Carolyn DeBard White in Greenville, SC. Bob attended Clemson University and later joined the National Guard where he served for seven years. He was the owner of several Garden Spot convenience stores, including the location on Cedar Lane Road in Berea, SC, where he was a beloved member of the community and friend to many.
He is survived by his sister, Betty Joyce White, his niece, Stephanie Baldauff Hope and her husband Leonard, and his nephew, Michael John Baldauff Jr. and his wife Kathleen. He is also survived by his great-nieces and nephews, Justin Baldauff, Emily Baldauff, Dylan Gilder, Maggie Gilder, Ruby Hope, Poppy Hope, and Tarekegn Hope.
The family will receive visitors at Mackey Funerals and Cremations at Woodlawn Memorial Park in Greenville, SC from 12:00 pm to 2:45 pm on Sunday, September 8, 2024. A private service for the family will follow.
