Bob was born April 24, 1943, in Cambridge, Massachusettes, to George and Winifred Jackson. His love for cars was only surpassed by his love for his family and the Lord. He attended Elohim Bible Institute after graduating from high school and then worked with New Tribes Missions training missionaries for the field. After a career in electronics at Agfa Corporation, he was involved in various counseling ministries, focusing on marriage counseling in his later years.
Robert was predeceased by his loving wife of 59 years, Margaret Victoria Jackson in October, and is survived by his three children, Deborah, Barbara, and Jonathan, along with their spouses. His 10 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren will miss their Papa. He was also predeceased by his brother Jim, is survived by his sister-in-law Sandy Jackson, and is also survived by his brother Jay Jackson and his wife Faith.
A celebration of his life will be held Saturday, March 30, at 4:00 in the afternoon at Greenville Christian Fellowship, 2220 State Park Rd. Greenville, SC 29609.
