Robert “Bob” Edward Ingram, 74, passed away surrounded by the love of his family April 16, 2023. Born in Oberammergau, Germany on March 16, 1949, he was the son of the late Robert Manley Ingram and Margarete Lang Bigalke. Bob was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend. He will be greatly missed.
Bob spent his early life in Jacksonville, Florida before moving to Greenville, SC where he graduated from Wade Hampton High School (‘68) and attended Clemson University. Bob was a devoted Clemson fan and loved Clemson football. He enjoyed spending time with his family and with his dogs, Gretchen and Heidi. Beginning his career with Caskie Paper Co., Bob later became Operations Manager with Atlantic Packaging Corp., where he was respected and loved by all who knew him.
Bob is survived by his wife of thirty-three years, Linda Fecht Ingram; his daughters, Leslie Batten, Katie Lawton (Parker) and Allison Yates (Jon); his children Michelle Owens (Ryan) and Travis Via (Ashley); fourteen grandchildren, Jessalyn, Gabriella, Ansley and Kelsie Batten; Molly, Riley Claire and Paisley Lawton; Jonathan and Gemma Yates; Carson and Zach Owens and Jacoby, Jaxon and Zoey Via; his sisters, Silvia Himmele (Wolfgang); Annie Migut (Ed) and Jane Vaughan (Robert). Bob was predeceased by his brother, Lang Ingram.
The family would like to thank Amedisys Hospice and Brushy Creek Post-Acute for their support during his illness.

A visitation for Bob will be held Friday, April 28, 2023 from 3:00 PM to 3:45 PM at Mackey Funerals and Cremations at Woodlawn Memorial Park, 1 Pine Knoll Drive, Greenville, SC 29609, followed by a memorial service at 4:00 PM.
