Bob was such a kind and gentle man, and always so thoughtful.  The way he loved and cared for you, Linda, was so precious.  I have never met a man who took such good care of his wife like I saw him take care of you.  
The memorial service was so sweet, and the love of his grandchildren is so precious, and they expressed it so well in the memories that they shared during the service.  
May the Lord wrap each of you up in His loving arms  and bring comfort and peace to your hearts during this difficult time of loss.

Bob was such a good man and a good friend. He took a chance on a very young guy decades ago at Caskie Paper Company which has led to a nice career in the paper and packaging business all these decades later. I was lucky enough to work with Bobby at Caskie, Henley Paper, and finally at Atlantic Packaging. We built a great friendship that lasted for the rest of his life and talked frequently. I couldn’t have asked for a better friend or mentor over the years. And he was the best boss anyone could hope for.

Bob was such an amazing person and always thinking and doing things for others!! I met him over 40 years ago when he kindly gave me a job at Caskie Paper Company when I was in graduate school. Little did I know then that he would marry my sister years later in 1990!! He was truly a devoted father, husband, grandfather, family member and loved spending time with family! I have tons of memories spending holiday gatherings in their home especially every Christmas Eve. He also was such an incredible employee, with an ideal work ethic! I was saddened when I learned of Bob’s passing. He and I became close over the past three and a half years and I was privileged to meet him for lunch about a year ago. He treated me to a BBQ lunch and would not let me pay!

I always enjoyed talking with him and never heard him say a negative word. He taught me everything I know about RanPak and I will never forget his impact on me. He will be missed by so many! May God grant you peace and comfort during the days going forward.

I met this great, good man in 1991 and "denominational"
differences in college sports teams and political parties
did not preclude us from establishing an enduring bond.
I sought Robert's counsel on a myriad of issues and he always
responded with warmth, intelligence and compassion.
He was a logistical genius with all the common sense in the
world that I simply did not possess; Not once, upon seeking
out his superior wisdom, did he not provide me with one, two
or three options to assuage my difficult circumstance, and then
usually offer to assist me in some way. He was truly a cherished
companion who's passing will be felt to the core of my soul for
a very long time.

My friendship with Bob goes back to the Henley Paper days and later with Atlantic Corporation.  Bob was always a great resource regarding all things " paper related  " or operational  within our business.   He was admired and respected by all.  He will truly be missed by all who knew him.

I don't believe I ever met any of you in person but I knew Bob from my Henley Paper Days. First just casually at sales meetings but then I called on  one account for him in his territory and then later on when he ran the Charlotte Fine Paper side. He was such a great boss. He knew what it took to get business but he also knew  how to KEEP business. He was always fair to the company but knew the customer came first. He also made sure work was fun. I loved our conversations, our lunches and later and recently our phone conversations. Bob was smart and had a sharp eye on all aspects of life. My life was better for knowing him. 

Bob was such a gentleman and I enjoyed the time we worked together. He will be missed.
