Born in Greenville, he was a son of the late Mauldin Aubrey and Gladys Parker Glenn. Robert graduated from Clemson University, and worked for Day International. He was an avid hiker, fisherman, and an enormous Clemson fan. He enjoyed traveling the world, and was a family man. He was a member of Augusta Road Baptist Church, and proudly served our country in the US Army.
He is survived by his loving companion, Virgil Story, of Greenville; four children, Karen Manley (Mike) of Anderson, South Carolina, Steve Glenn (Angie) of Taylors, SC, Mark Glenn (Jan) of York, SC, and David Glenn of Easley, SC; five grandchildren; and 6 great-grandchildren, and one on the way.
In addition to his wife and parents, he is preceded in death by two sisters, Betty Jane Rowland and JoAnn Huff.
The family will hold a private graveside service.
