Robert was born February 28, 1942 to Sarah Frances Forrester and Freeman Turner Forrester of Taylors, SC.
Robert graduated from Greenville High School and Greenville Tech., where he earned a B.S. in Chemistry.
Robert served our country in the United States Navy where he earned a Letter of Accommodation for his service.
Robert worked as a chemist for Norwich-Proctor and Gamble, Waste Management and retired with General Nutrition.
Robert enjoyed as his hobbies, playing the guitar, playing tennis, ping pong and chess.
Robert is survived by his wife, Carole Davenport Forrester of Taylors SC; daughter Lisa F. Kitchens of Easley SC (Tim); son Robert Timothy Forrester of Taylors SC (Suzanne); and grandchild Kaitlin Elise Forrester of Greenville SC.
Robert was preceded in death by father Freeman Turner Forrester and mother Sarah Frances Forrester of Taylors SC.
A visitation for Robert will be held Tuesday, March 16, 2021 from 12:00 PM to 12:45 PM at Mackey Funerals and Cremations at Woodlawn Memorial Park, 1 Pine Knoll Drive, Greenville, SC 29609. Following the visitation will be a graveside service with Military Honors at 1:00 PM at Woodlawn Memorial Park, 1901 Wade Hampton Blvd, Greenville, SC 29609.
