R.L. Bobby "Bobby" Galloway

Robert Leroy Galloway, 64 of Williamston, SC passed away on Tuesday, March 19, 2013. Born in Easley, SC he was the son of Bill Leroy Galloway and the late Bobbie Avanelle Ellenburg. Bobby was a Sergeant in the US Marines serving in Vietnam. He received the National Defense Service Medal, the Republic of Vietnam Service Medal, the Presidential Unit Citation, the combat Action Ribbon, Good Conduct medal, and the Purple Heart. He was a project manager with the Industrial Division of Mitchell Contractors Incorporated. He is survived by his loving wife: Dorothy Ann Galloway; also along with his father, he is survived by his step-mother: Lib Galloway; three daughters: Kellie Moore (Loren), Lois Galloway, and Bobbie Ann Medlin (Brian); three brothers: Roger Galloway, Ricky Galloway (Julie), and Johnny Galloway (Cindy); six grandchildren: Joel Medlin, Mikayla Penninger, Bobby Penninger, Matthew Penninger, Amber Moore, and Kyle Moore. He was predeceased by a brother: Bryan Galloway. A chapel service will be held on Friday, March 22, 2013 at 3:00 pm at Woodlawn Funeral Home. Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 21, 2013 from 6 - 8pm in Woodlawn Funeral Home.
