Rita was in Liberty, SC to the late John Charlie McKinney and Nina Allen. She is survived by two: sisters Margaret Butler (Ed) and Brenda Russell (Don); one brother Frank David McKinney (Kathy) . She was preceded by one brother J. Charlie McKinney Jr..

Funeral services will be conducted at the chapel at the Mackey Mortuary, Greenville, SC on Saturday, February 11, 2017 at 2:00PM. Visitation will held one hour prior to service. Burial will follow at Westview Cemetery, Liberty, SC.
